NORD Basmati Rice XXXL is a 1121 basmati – one of the best known long-grain basmati varieties. Its signature is an exceptionally long, slender grain that lengthens noticeably further during cooking. XXXL refers precisely to this grain size.
The rice cooks up light and separate. The grains stay distinct and hold their shape even when larger quantities are prepared. The 20 kg pack is the largest in our range and the lowest in price per kilo – made for institutional kitchens and resellers.

How to cook
Rinse the rice in cold water until the water runs clear and soak for about 20 minutes. Cook one part rice to one and a half parts water, covered, for 10–12 minutes, then let it rest for 5 minutes. Loosen the grains with a fork.
Works well in biryani and pilaf, as a side for curries, and alongside grilled meat, fish and vegetables.
Storage
Store in a dry, cool place away from direct sunlight. Close the zip after use.
